About the farmers
Cameroon Boyo Coffee
Highly skilled and hard working farmers from the Boyo region, north of Bemenda, form Cameroon Boyo Coffee. Self-proclaimed 'stewards of our earth'; their estates grow coffee and cacao in the western highlands of Cameroon at an average altitude of 5,000 feet/1,500 meters above sea level. The nutrient-rich volcanic soil, the ideal climatic conditions, and the skills and hard work of the farmers are what makes Cameroon Boyo Coffee so special.
Organically grown in small family farms, alongside and surrounded by other food crops, the coffee trees thrive in the micro eco-systems, receiving endless love and attention. This practice of love and attention to detail continues during harvesting, milling, transportation, and roasting of the coffee, thus resulting in the unique taste and aroma our patrons have been enjoying since 1996.
This coffee is packed with fruit and floral flavors. A great medium roast that makes a great after dinner cup.
